1. Use a Voltage Stabilizer for Sensitive Appliances
Refrigerators, air conditioners, and other compressor-based appliances are especially vulnerable to voltage swings. A correctly sized stabilizer smooths out fluctuations before they ever reach the appliance’s motor or control board.
2. Add Surge Protection at the Point of Entry
A single surge protector strip only guards what’s plugged into it. For whole-home protection — especially against surges caused by lightning or grid switching — a surge protection device installed at the main distribution board covers every circuit at once.
3. Don’t Skip the RCCB and Properly Rated MCBs
